The North Aegean Regional Development Fund participated in the Panhellenic Meeting of Regional Development Funds, which took place in Corfu on 4–5 June 2026, hosted by the Regional Development Fund of the Ionian Islands.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation among the country’s Regional Development Funds, exchange experience and expertise, and discuss contemporary issues related to development planning and the operational functioning of the Funds.
During the proceedings, best practices, challenges, and prospects were presented regarding the management and implementation of development projects, the improvement of administrative procedures, the utilisation of financial instruments, and the enhancement of the role of Regional Development Funds in supporting the Regions.
The North Aegean Regional Development Fund actively participated in the thematic sessions and discussions, sharing its views and experience and contributing to the constructive dialogue on the formulation of effective practices and joint initiatives.
The Fund extends its sincere gratitude to the Regional Development Fund of the Ionian Islands for its excellent hospitality and outstanding organisation of the meeting, which substantially contributed to the achievement of its objectives.
